Robert Ebert’s Controversial Tweet about Dunn, “Friends don’t let jackasses drink & drive.”

Less than 24 hours after the death of Ryan Dunn, film critic Roger Ebert wrote the controversial tweet (above) about Dunn’s death. Dunn, along with another passenger, died in a car accident early Monday morning. It is widely speculated that alcohol may have been involved in the accident, as Dunn posted a photo of him and friends having drinks at a bar. My question is, is it highly insensitive to make comments/tweets about Dunn’s death or is this a perfect opportunity to have a very real conversation about drunk driving?
