O’Shea Jackson Jr. & DC Young Fly Tease New ‘Friday’ Movie
Would you like to see a new ‘Friday’ movie, starring O’Shea Jackson Jr and DC Young Fly? As you know, Oshea’s father, Ice Cube, starred in the hit 1995 film alongside comedian Chris Tucker.
This week, Young Fly posted a photo with OShea teasing,
What if @icecube came out wit a new Friday with me and @osheajacksonjr who would watch it ????? #Trl #Mtv #NoDaysOff
He also posted a clip of the pair jokingly acting a potential scene from a future sequel. See the clip.
The scene was actually filmed on the set of MTV’s TRL, where Young Fly co-hosts.
To date, Friday’s success spawned two sequels: “Next Friday” (2000) and “Friday After Next” (2002). A fourth installment entitled “Last Friday” has been in the works for several years and has gotten the greenlight as of April 2017, according to John Witherspoon.
