Yvette Nicole Brown To Star In ‘Most Likely To’ Comedy
Yvette Nicole Brown snagging more TV time. The ‘Community’ actress, who recently co-starred on ‘The Mayor’, will star in Most Likely To. The project revolves around Liz Cooney, who, in high school, had everything, and Markie McQueen, who had nothing. Twenty years later, they’re reunited under the same roof as single moms and unlikely housemates.
Brown will take on the role of Markie McQueen, who is described as radiant and warm, quietly confident, with a successful salon and brilliant daughter — but her insecurities are reignited when her high school bully arrives in town. (The role of Liz is currently uncast.)
Last month, ABC canceled The Mayor, due to low ratings. Brown has appeared in numerous commercials, television shows, and films throughout her career. She starred as Shirley Bennett on the NBC comedy series Community. She had a recurring role on the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh as Helen Dubois, and voiced the character Cookie on the American-Canadian animated series Pound Puppies. She also starred as Dani in the 2015 version of The Odd Couple on CBS.
