Travis Scott – Promoter Demands Rapper’s Lawsuit Over Concert Be Dismissed

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, the concert promoter being sued by Travis Scott is demanding his lawsuit filed against them be tossed out of court.

Earlier this year, entertainment promoter PJAM sued the rapper, who shares a child with reality star Kylie Jenner, for bailing on a Super Bowl weekend performance, despite paying him over $150k.

PJAM claimed they booked Scott to perform on February 3 at a nightclub in Minneapolis. The company event worked out a private jet for him and spent thousands promoting the concert, only for him to back out hours before it was set to start. The company sued demanding the return of their $150k advance and unspecified damages.

Travis Scott responded to the suit, accusing PJAM of never confirming his travel prior to the show. The rapper claimed he was in the dark still on his travel plans. He claimed the company wouldn’t have been able to fund the rest of his transportation and the remaining amount owed on his deal.

He sued demanding an unspecified amount due on the deal, despite him not showing up due to his belief the company breached a confidentiality clause by talking to the press.

On May 7th, PJAM headed to court demanding Scott’s counter-suit be dismissed, denying they breached the deal. PJAM says Scott’s own negligence and failure to perform his duties on the deal caused any alleged damages. They point out the rapper did not perform at their show and therefore they believe he is owed nothing. They are demanding his suit be tossed and their lawsuit continue on in court.
