EXCLUSIVE: Kandi Burruss “Old Lady Gang” Restaurant Lawsuit Dismissed
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, a lawsuit filed against Kandi Burruss and her Old Lady Gang restaurant has been dismissed. The plaintiff, Charles Eric Busbee, failed to respond to Kandi’s motion to dismiss. The judge dismissed the entire case last month.
Here’s the backstory: A contractor named Charles Busbee sued the Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star and her husband Todd Tucker claiming that he had not paid him for $16,512 in work he did last year on their new restaurant Old Lady Gang.
In the lawsuit, he said he was forced to pay his crew of workers out of his own pocket. Busbee had previously filed a lawsuit trying to get his money. On September 26, 2016, the two parties appeared in court and Drayton admitted to not paying and agreed to restitution payments over a year.
