Kanye Told Kim Kardashian She Could Leave Him After Slavery Controversy “She Called Screaming”
Kanye West has finally released his highly anticipated 8th studio album. Following the 2016 success of “The Life of Pablo”, West dropped “‘ye” on Friday (June 1st) on all streaming platforms. Before the release, the shoe designer encouraged industry giants to come and listen to the new album in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Thursday evening. Some who were spotted were Chris Rock, Big Sean, and Jonah Hill.
The controversial rapper made major headlines when he stated “slavery is a choice” during an interview. At the time, he stated,
When you hear about slavery for 400 years … for 400 years? That sounds like a choice.
Several fans stopped supporting his brand, claiming he had lost his mind, and he was in the
“sunken place.” He later clarified his previous statements on Twitter by writing,
We are programmed to always talk and face race issues. We need to update
our conversation. The Universe has a plan. I knew that TMZ would be
awesome.
Fast forward to the present day and the rapper addresses rumors on the 7-track album. He rhymes about giving his wife, Kim Kardashian West the go-ahead to leave him after his slavery comments. He raps,
Wife calling screaming saying we’re about to lose it all I had to calm her down ‘cos she couldn’t breathe/I told her she could leave me now but she wouldn’t leave. This is what they mean for better or for worse huh?
He acknowledged he was bi-polar; renouncing it has a superpower, rather than a disability. According to reports, this album has been two years in the making, and the creative process for it was a twisted
one.
