Bobby Brown Denies Domestic Violence Against Whitney Houston
Bobby Brown is denying vintage claims of domestic violence against his now deceased ex wife, Whitney Houston.
The late singer passed in 2012. Whitney and Bobby were married from 1992 to 2007. While promoting his upcoming BET movie, “The Bobby Brown Story,” reporters asked him about a domestic violence incident with Whitney in 2003. Bobby denied allegations that he was abusive to Whitney stating,
There was no violent incidents between me and Whitney. You’re mistaken. You’re completely wrong.
Another reporter said the 911 call, which led to a domestic violence complaint and a misdemeanor battery charge against him, is part of the public record. Bobby responded to this statement,
The public record is wrong.
Brown also addressed a question about having scandals in his life, saying,
I don’t think there’s juicy scandals, I think there’s just the life that I’ve lived. In my life, I’ve been through things, ups and downs and some of the things I’m not proud of. … So, scandals? There’s no scandals. There’s just juicy.
“The Bobby Brown Story” stars Woody McClain as Bobby and Gabrielle Dennis as Whitney. It airs in September.
