Safaree Cries Over Nicki Minaj Song
A track from Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated 4th studio album “Queen” is receiving some attention from her ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels. In the midst of delivering catchy punchlines and name dropping her network of rap colleagues, she has a standout ballad called “Come See About Me,” where she attempts to sing about vulnerability, short comings, and love never fading. As Minaj pours her heart out over a piano, Safaree took to Twitter to alert his followers of his sentiments towards the song.
“Want you to see how much I changed up / Oooh, I just hope I’m not too late / I know you’re hesitant about it but / I got a lot I wanna say to you,“ Minaj crooned over the thumping beat.
The tweet, which has been deleted, read:
“Ok so y’all blew me up about come see about me so I went and listened to it and wether it’s about me or not that shit just had me crying like a b#^*h” .
The rapper and Love & Hip Hop star were together for nearly 12 years, after their break up, Nicki quickly got into a relationship with Meek Mill, while Safaree joined the popular VH1 reality show. While the two of have been linked to other relationships since their separation, Safaree is rumored to still be willing to make it work with Minaj.
“I don’t think it’s about me but the song is nice. I was in a perfectly fine mood b4 I heard that. Thx a lot,” he concluded.
