Birdman Apologizes To Lil Wayne At Lil Weezyana Fest
Over the weekend, Lil Wayne held his annual Lil Weezyana Fest in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. This concert was a special one for Wayne because it included not only a reunion between him and Birdman but a much-needed apology.
Birdman and Lil Wayne have engaged in an ongoing battle regarding lawsuits, unpaid funds, and music that has never seen the light of day. Though the two have tried to make peace, this would be the first time Wayne has gotten a public apology. While on stage in New Orleans, Birdman decided to address the crowd:
To be home f*cking with my son, I love that nigga to death. I know what I know and I know what I feel about what I know. I knew this day was going to come but I didn’t know when it was going to come.
He continued,
But this nigga right here — the best nigga. The realest nigga. The illest nigga. And I wanted to apologize to my nigga worldwide to let him know that. That nigga put his life in my hands and I’m gonna keep it real with a nigga, we’re gonna do this until the day we die. It’s YMCMB for death!

The two then hugged it out before playing “Still Fly” by Big Tymers. The crowd was obviously excited about the reconciliation between Lil Wayne and Birdman. Maybe this means we will finally get Carter V.
