Kanye West Designs Shirts For Candace Owens’ “Blexit” Campaign, Encourages Black People To Exit The Democratic Party
Kanye West is back on his free-thinking train by using his art to convince black people to leave the Democratic Party. Blexit, which stands for “Black Exit”, is a spin-off of Brexit which was the United Kingdom’s movement for their departure from the European Union. West showed his support for the Blexit movement by designing a number of shirts for the organization. Candace Owens says,
Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West.
The shirts come in a variety of colors and phrases like “We Free” and “Blexit”. They feature vector images of human bodies in various forms representing freedom, family, culture, belief, progress and strength. The website describes the movement,
BLEXIT is a frequency for those who have released themselves from the political orthodoxy. It is a rebellion led by Americans wishing to disrupt the simulation of fear. BLEXIT is a renaissance. It is our formal declaration of independence.
