Man Charged With Concealing EJ Johnson’s Best Friend Lyric McHenry’s Body

There has been a breakthrough in the death of 26-year-old Lyric McHenry, whose body was found on the sidewalk in New York over two months ago. According to an affidavit, the reality star died as a result of an overdose of cocaine, alcohol, and heroin. She had just celebrated her birthday with friends before her body was discovered.

There has also been an arrest made in McHenry’s case. A man by the name of Alexis Meija-Ramirez, 29, has been charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence. Reports say that on the early morning of August 14, video surveillance from multiple locations show Ramirez and two other men placing  McHenry’s body above the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx.  Ramirez was taken into custody but is now out on bail.

Lyric McHenry appeared on EJ Johnson‘s reality show EJNYC and also served as a producer on the series.
