Kyrie Irving Apologizes For Saying “F*ck Thanksgiving”
On Wednesday, following the Boston Celtics’ loss to the New York Knicks, a reporter wished Kyrie Irving a Happy Thanksgiving, to which he replied, “F*ck Thanksgiving”.
Kyrie, whose late mother was a descendant of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, is obviously not a fan of what the holiday stands for. In August, Irving and his sister took part in a Lakota naming ceremony, in which he was given the name “Little Mountain”. On Thanksgiving Day, Irving took to Twitter to apologize for his harsh language towards the reporter. He tweeted:
I spoke w/ frustration after last nights game and spoke words that shouldn’t be in a professional setting no matter what.
Meant no disrespect to the Holiday and those who celebrate it respectfully. I’m grateful for the time We all can share with our families. We are always ONE.

Do you think Kyrie needed to apologize? Let us know in the comments.
