Chaka Khan Says Today’s Music Is Missing “Talent”
Chaka Khan is one of the most legendary and highly-regarded singers in the music industry, who has a catalog of hits that spans several decades, so when she gives her take on the state of current music it’s worth noting. During her recent appearance on The Steve Harvey Show, she didn’t mince words when giving her opinion on today’s artists.
Chaka Khan stopped by to chat with Steve Harvey on his daytime talk fest The Steve Harvey Show. While there, Harvey didn’t hesitate to ask Khan exactly what she thought about the slate of current music—and she definitely didn’t hold back her opinion.
When asked by Harvey what she thinks is missing from some of today’s music, Khan quickly responded saying, “talent” before taking a pause and continuing her statement to add:
“Yeah, sincerity, you know? And the reason, the initiative. Why am I here on this stage? You know, really speaking and loving all these people in mass?”
