“Married To Medicine’s” Mariah Huq Says She Did NOT Produce LA Spinoff
Mariah Huq is setting the record straight. The “Married to Medicine” star is wishing the ladies of the “Married to Medicine: LA” spinoff luck after their first mash-up episode aired last night (3/3/19). Mariah revealed that although she is the creator and executive producer of “Married to Medicine: Atlanta,” she is not involved with the spinoff. In an Instagram post, she explained:
“@iluvmariah I hope you are watching #MarriedtoMed LA right now. Everyone keeps asking if I’m affiliated with this one. I created Married to Medicine, but I am not a producer on MTM-LA. I hear the ladies are smart, sassy & classy so I look forward to meeting them soon and wish them all a great season premiere! #PushThru #MarriedtoMed #MarriedtoMedLA”

Mariah Huq may not be working with the Los Angeles cast, but she’s made it clear that she is the head honcho at the Atlanta production. During the season six reunion, Mariah’s husband, Dr. Aydin Huq, suggested that he and his wife have the power to hire and fire. In regards to their fiery beef with Quad Webb-Lunceford, Aydin shouted:
“I gave her a f*cking job!
“Married to Medicine: LA” stars Asha Kamali-Blankinship, Dr. Contessa‘s college friends Dr. Britten Cole and Dr. Imani Walker, Dr. Noelle Reid, and Shanique Drummond.
