Kylie Jenner is Officially the World’s Youngest Self-Made Billionaire
Move over, Mark Zuckerberg! The baby of the Kardashian/Jenner crew is officially the most paid. Thanks to her make-up line, Kylie Cosmetics; her reality TV checks, endorsement deals, and clothing lines – Kylie Jenner has officially been crowned the youngest self-made billionaire at 21-years-old. Through financial trend data, Forbes Magazine predicted that this would happen when they put the beauty mogul/social media guru on the cover in July of last year.
With their 2019 billionaires list, Forbes revealed that Kylie Jenner is both the youngest billionaire, and youngest self-made billionaire. Kylie commented on her success:
“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
She continued, crediting her 128 million followers:
“It’s the power of social media. I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything…I see [Kylie Cosmetics] going very far. I work really hard.”
Her mother, infamous momager Kris Jenner, hints that they could, one day, sell Kylie Cosmetics for an even bigger payday. Kris said:
“It’s always something that we’re willing to explore.”
Congratulations, Kylie!
