Lamar Odom Announces Release Date For Memoir Detailing Addiction, Overdose & Marriage To Khloe Kardashian
Former NBA star, Lamar Odom is set to release a memoir, ‘Darkness to Light,’ which details his past including everything from his basketball career to his marriage to reality star, Khloe Kardashian and his 2015 drug overdose. On Friday, the 39-year-old 2-time NBA champion shares on Instagram his tell all will be release on May 28th,

Odom explained earlier this year, this is the first time he is opening up on his story about his struggles with drugs.
“Darkness to Lightwill definitely surprise readers because it’s the first time I actually am opening about my entire story. Parts of my life that I never had a chance to talk about. My goal is to inspire readers through my trials and tribulations.”
He continues, adding his goal of his upcoming memoir.

Last year, Odom opened up with comedian Kevin Hart on Hart’s web series Cold as Balls.“ The two discussed Odom’s NBA career, as well as his 2015 hospitalization were he had over 10 strokes and several heart attacks. Odom said,
“All my doctors that see me say I’m a walking miracle. I had 12 strokes and six heart attacks when I was in a coma. Every day, I’m alive. It’s much better than the alternative.”
