Let me drive the boat! Houston rapper and fresh off the released of her debut album, ‘Fever,’ Megan Thee Stallion is responding to rumors that sparked over the weekend when artist Wolf Tyla tweeted that she had her first “placement” on Megan’s album. Tyla writers,
“Got my first placement and it’s on an album by a woman who I think is fire.“

Afterwards, Megan caught of Tyla’s claim that she wrote her track, ‘Simon Says’. She wrote on social media,
”I write all my own sh*t don’t let nobody gas you up like that.”

In another message she writes,
“That clout sh*t crazy.”

Tyla seemingly responded,
“If I’m a “clout chaser” for showing nothing but love and being proud of something I took part in, so be it. That was a cute label stunt.The song still fire. And I said what I said, I’m grateful to be a part of the record.”

The ‘Fever’ rapper continues, adding that rapper Juicy J is to be credited.
“Like I said don’t nobody write my sh*t for me… so don’t try to insinuate you did… just be clear from the beginning. I didn’t even kno she had nothing to do with the song Juicy Jay say you ain’t write nothing.”

Tyla then went on Instagram live to play her reference track that she made for Juicy J while explaining her role in the songwriting process.
Megan also responded on her Instagram Live responding as well.
Tyla then posted a text message conversation with Juicy J’a manager explaining her side of the story.

Tyla also poses a question,
“Why would I receive credit and publishing if I only did a “reference track” and absolutely nothing else?”

Juicy J interjected, writing on social media:
“I produced and write a lot of songs and I get people to reference the songs. I write ‘Simon Says, now let’s end this, this is very petty, have a happy Sunday”

As previously reported, along with her anticipated debut, Megan is currently nominated for the BET Awards’ Best Female Hip Hop Artist category, along with Cardi B, Kash Doll, Nicki Minaj, Lizzo, and Remy Ma.
