Tyrese Responds to Having No Black Women In Video, “I don’t do favors.”
Tyrese shot the video for his new single “I Gotta Chick” but created a fuss by the lack of diversity. From the behind-the-scenes shots that were shared, it appears that no black women were included in the video. We do spot what we assume are Latino and bi-racial women. Some of Tyrese’s fans noticed the lack of black women and made a few comments on twitter.

Should Tyrese have made an effort to include a black woman in his video or are black women just being highly sensitive because they weren’t included? BTW, in terms of video girls for black artists, is Latino the new black?

Like i tell people, why are we pressed to have a black women objectified in these videos? let the latino women have it honey. I feel like Latino is the new black they are running around yelling the N word more then the black people I know. I could care less if black women are in his video, let them audition for the classier, more romantic stuff. I also think Ty is full of it anyway.
