Ayesha Curry Is The Latest Celeb To Enroll In Harvard’s Business Program

We can now add Ayesha Curry to the list of celebrities who have been accepted into Harvard’s online business course. The restaurant owner and chef has already proven she’s more than Steph Curry’s wife and a mom of three.

Ayesha announced her journey at Harvard during an interview.

“I haven’t talked about this publicly, but I’m taking this Harvard Business School online course thing right now. And I’ve stuck with this so I’m really, I’m really proud of myself.”

She also dished on what she’s learned so far.

“But one of the things that I just learned in the class is like, it’s the way you delegate is very important as a leader and to be inclusive and open and not to create consensus bias in your workspace. It’s something that I’m looking forward [to] implementing into my own business because I know sometimes I get really passionate about an idea and I tend to advocate and I’m learning now that it’s not necessarily good to be an advocator and so I’m, I’m just really excited to kind of like refocus and not advocate so much that people can give me their opinions.”

She added that she’s open to her children taking a different direction.

“I read ‘Becoming’ and Michelle Obama said not to ask children what they want to be when they grow up because what does that mean, right? Like then they have this ideal of something they have to achieve and then they don’t achieve it. And then it creates this anxiety and this ongoing thing of like, ‘I have to achieve this and if I don’t, then what?’ I said, what are you interested in? It’s always in my mind, ‘Don’t ask her what she wants to be.’”

Ayesha’s attendance at Harvard comes just weeks after singer Ciara completed the program.

Blac Chyna was also reportedly attending the program earlier this year. But Harvard shut down rumors that it ever accepted anyone with her government name, Angela White.

The prestigious school released a statement and said,

“Harvard Business School Online has not admitted nor provided an acceptance letter to a person named Angela White.”

Chyna cleared the air and said in an interview,

“Nobody wasn’t lying. I’m still going through the process right now. It’s a program. See, people have to understand the difference, it’s three different programs, you do the online, the extension and actually going on the campus and doing all that. What I’m doing is the extension. You know what? Honestly, I’m just tired of people with the stories. And yeah, I’m still going through the process right now.”
