Wendy Williams Share’s Rare Photo Of Son Kevin Jr., Celebrating His 19th Birthday

Happy birthday to Kevin Hunter, Jr.! The only child of daytime talk show host is officially 19, and it looks like Williams is crying tears of joy about it. While she hardly ever posts photos of her son, she brought in his birthday with a social media post of kissing him on the cheek.

It’s safe to say Williams all smiles despite the drama she and Kevin, Jr. have been through this year. She filed for divorce from his father, Kevin Hunter, Sr. back in April. They were married for 21 years.

Williams’ filing came amid reports that Kevin, Sr. welcomed a love child with his alleged mistress. Williams recently said while she knew of Kevin, Sr.’s infidelity, she stayed with him for the sake of KEvin, Jr. 

“I had to get my ducks in a row. I knew a lot of things for years, but my son was at home. It wasn’t fair to him. I’m not going grab his hand and flee the scenes and move zip codes. Now he has to move high schools and stuff like that — he’s just making friends. Now he’s away in college, and the person I am now is very single because he’s not living with me. He goes to school in Miami.”

While Kevin, Jr. was the reason she stayed with him, Williams said he’s not the only reason she hopes she and Kevin, Sr. can stay on good terms.

“I want a divorce, like, yesterday. I want a divorce, like, two months ago, three months ago, whenever I found out, four months ago,” she said, seemingly referencing Hunter’s alleged affair. “I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin. And not because we have a son, but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way. You’re either in or you’re out with me. I still love him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”
