Singer/Songwriter Lashawn Daniels’ Family To Hold Private Memorial Service
Lashawn Daniels’ family has released the following statement regarding his memorial service:
Thank you so much for the worldwide support and outpouring of love and prayers for the loss of our beloved LaShawn. Words cannot express how it has lifted us in our time of sorrow.
We know there have been so many people who have felt LaShawn’s impact, and want to share in remembering him, but out of respect for our family, LaShawn’s memorial service is Private and by the family’s invitation only. This is a solemn time for our immediate family and we wish to keep it personal.
To ensure the privacy and sensitive nature of the occasion, no media will be in attendance and only invited guests will be included on a list managed by trusted individuals.
This week, the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and producer was the victim of a fatal car accident in South Carolina. His family is accepting donations for a memorial fund. See the announcement below.

He also appeared with his wife April on Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince.
Please continue to send prayers, love and light to his family and friends.
