Bobby Brown Removed From Flight After Dispute, Airline Says There Were ‘Indications Of Intoxication’

An airline has revealed why Bobby Brown was allegedly removed from a flight to Boston Monday (Sept. 9).

JetBlue has released a statement after news spread that Brown was taken off one of its planes before it departed Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It said the Roni singer was

“removed from the aircraft prior to departure after crewmembers observed indications of intoxication. The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. In this instance, the customer was offered a seat on a later flight. The customer declined and was issued a refund.”

Brown was sitting in first class when he was taken off the flight after a dispute. It’s not clear what it was about but everyone had to get off the plane. Brown was kept at the entrance as everyone left, and police were later called to the gate to chat with him. After he got off the plane, Brown allegedly screamed at officers that he was heading to his cousin’s funeral.

Meanwhile, everyone except Brown was let back on the plane, which was delayed about an hour.

Still, some insiders close to Brown said that JetBlue acted too soon, noting that Brown wasn’t being problematic at all. Passengers on the flight also said Brown wasn’t making a scene. While he did reportedly confess to drinking before getting on the flight, he didn’t act out when told he couldn’t have another drink.

Brown has not spoken out about the incident yet.
