Lil Reese Shot, In Critical Condition

Very sad news, Chicago rapper Lil Reese (real name Tavares Taylor) has been shot. According to reports, the 26-year-old artist was shot Monday (Nov. 11th) at an intersection in Chicago, in south suburban Country Club Hills.

Police said officers responded at about 2:30 p.m. to the 167th Street and Pulaski Road for reports of a shooting.

When Officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly discovered a vehicle that had fresh blood on the driver’s seat as well as on the ground next to the driver’s side door. Witnesses told police that a wounded man had been taken away by another man.

Initially, Lil Reese was admitted to South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest. He was later transferred to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

According to reports, he was allegedly shot in the neck and is in critical condition.

No arrests have been reported.
