Eminem Launches The #GodzillaChallenge w/ Grand Prize For Best Repost [VIDEO]
Rapper Eminem has launched a new viral challenge which features his No. 3 Billboard charting single “Godzilla.” In celebration of his top 3 record, the Detroit rapper took to his Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 25th), challenging his 20+ million followers to share their best lyrical skills with the hashtag #GodzillaChallenge.
On Eminem’s “Godzilla” track, he speeds up his bars, similarly to Chicago rapper Twister. On the third verse, he raps 224 words in just 31 seconds. He captioned the social media post for the challenge:
#GodzillaChallenge is on. Who can spit it?
Eminem says his favorite repost will take home an unknown prize,
“Reposting + got prizes for my favorites.”
Immediately after posting, hundreds of fans took him up on the lyrical challenge and reposted their individual clips spitting the lyrics to Eminem’s “Godzilla,” beat.

Also featured on “Godzilla” is late rapper Juice WRLD who died unexpectedly due to a seizure at Chicago’s Midway International Airport at the age of 21 in December. Eminem dedicated his latest album, Music to Be Murdered By in memory of the young rapper.
As previously reported, Eminem recently was awarded a historic 10th No. 1 album amid 279,000 sales earned in the U.S. in the week ending Jan. 23. With another No. 1 added to his resume, Eminem is now tied with Elvis Presley for fourth-most chart-owners in Billboard history. This is Eminem’s first album since another surprise release, Kamikaze, which dropped in 2018 and touted the No. 1 spot.
