Drake Makes History W/ Most Hot 100 Hits Of All Time
Life is good! Drake has scored another history-making moment as of Tuesday (March 17th). He charted yet another placement on the Hot 100 ranking, officially making history as the artist with the most hits on the list in its half-century-long tenure.
The Toronto rapper’s latest track “Oprah’s Bank Account,” featuring Lil Yachty and DaBaby, will debut at No. 89 (according to Billboard), giving all three artists another hit. Drake has now charted with 208 different songs on the Hot 100, which breaks the record for the most appearances among all artists.
Drake surpassed the 207-song run the cast of “Glee” held on the chart. Lil Wayne sits behind Drake and “Glee” with 168 songs to reach the Hot 100 chart. The top 10 also includes Elvis Presley, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, and Future.

According to reports, Drake first charted on the Hot 100 with “Best I Ever Had” in 2009, eventually peaking at No. 2. He has topped the chart with the songs “One Dance,” “God’s Plan,” “Nice for What” and “In My Feelings.” In addition, his collaborations with Rihanna, “What’s My Name?” and “Work” also added a notch on his chart-topping No. 1 singles.
As for his follow-up album to 2018’s ‘Scorpion,’ the Toronto rapper says he’s taking his time while living his best life. He told Rolling Stone in December,
“I’ll go like three weeks in between making songs, just because I’m just kind of enjoying life. I’m enjoying living, going out with people. Investing in personal connections. And it’s just making my music better.”
As previously reported, Drake recently released two new tracks in late February for “When to Say When” and “Chicago Freestyle.” He also released a visual for the video.
