The Weeknd Releases Dark Video for Song “Until I Bleed Out
The Weeknd (real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) released a video to his single “Until I Bleed Out” off his newly released album After Hours.
In the video, the 30-year-old walks around a party in a red blazer with a bloody nose, struggling to connect with reality.
The room is filled with balloons and confetti. He sees an attractive woman across the room, but before he can make it over to talk with her he falls to the ground and the room spinning around him. He then wakes up and everyone is staring at him. At the end, he makes it to some sort of snowy oasis.
Watch the video below.
His album “After Hours” had the highest selling week so far this year. It sold more than 400,000 album-equivalent units, 275,000 of which were in pure sales. It’s the Weeknd’s fourth number one album.
