Chance The Rapper Says “All The Celebrities Out There In The World, Ya’ll Don’t Got Sh*t On Jesus”, As He Gives Easter Sermon At Home [VIDEO] 

Chance the Rapper recently took to his Instagram live to give a mini-sermon about Jesus Christ. On April 11th, the 26-year-old, born Chancelor Bennett, shared with his viewers his strong appreciation of what his savor has done for him. While live streaming Chance the Rapper said: 

“Then Jesus came and in a garden, not the Garden of Eden but a different garden and was tempted by Satan. And he said get behind me Satan! And [Jesus] put his heal on [Satan’s] m*therf*cking neck.

During his speech, the rapper addressed his fellow celebrity peers and let them know that they can’t compare to Jesus Christ. 

“[Jesus] went up on that cross at Calvary and he took the beating and the death that all of us deserved. All of us live in sin and are born into sin,” Chance said. “Christ is a different breed. Different kind of guy. And all the celebrities and important icons out there in the world, ya’ll don’t got sh*t on Jesus.”

This isn’t Chance the Rapper’s first time publically speaking on his spiritual beliefs. Last year, while on The Ellen Show, the rapper attributed a lot of what he does to his own faith in Jesus. 

He explained:

“So, my understanding of a lot of stuff is based on Jesus. Jesus teaches to be, like, you know, to care for your neighbor, care for people who aren’t necessarily your blood but still a part of your body, because we’re all humans. And that’s an impactful thing that I think I understood more as I got older” Chance said. 

In addition to speaking about his faith, Chance the Rapper has also incorporated gospel music aspects into some of his songs as well. The song entitled Blessings from his mixtape Coloring Book opens with singer Jamila Woods singing:
