A Rihanna Documentary May Be In The Works
Just because Rihanna hasn’t released a new album yet doesn’t mean the Fenty brand owner isn’t out here working. It’s being reported that Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is teaming up with Amazon Video again. This time around the two household names will allegedly be bringing us a documentary about the personal and work life of Rihanna. News of the rumored documentary broke when a Rihanna’s twitter fan account, that has over 100,000 followers, tweeted about the supposed upcoming film on May 1st.

According to the twitter account, the documentary will be directed by Peter Berg. If the rumor is true, this won’t be the first time that Rihanna and Peter Berg have worked on a project together. He directed the 2012 sci-fi- film Battleship, which Rihanna had an acting role in. This also won’t be the first time Rihanna has worked with Amazon Video, the streaming service is responsible for releasing her 2019 Savage X Fenty fashion show.
Rihanna also appeared in Childish Gambino’s musical film Guava Island, which was released via Amazon Video streaming services as well.
