Russell Simmons Claims Stacey Abrams Will Be The Next VP According To ‘Very Reliable Source’

In a post on Instagram, entrepreneur, and hip-hop icon, Russell Simmons claims to have heard from a “reliable top inside source” that Stacey Abrams will be Joe Biden’s VP and even goes as far to openly congratulate her.

His caption reads:

“America’s next VP From a very reliable top inside source…Great news The eminent rise of the #devinefeminine is coming to pass now , The many expressions of our collectives greed which are the results of the imbalance in Leaderahip is weighing on us The destruction of the planet , the cooperations poisoning of all of our species including the human species is evident in many ways ..the health problems that black poor white and all of our underserved communities are experiencing.. While expressions of compassion are very low ,Even “leaders” in our “progressive communities “ will bite off your head for having a different point of view …We must return to the art of listening and to the ease of compassionate thoughtful leadership that exists in us as men but more fully developed around us in our women ….The world needs more nurturing not more exploitation. I’m glad we are taking this first step congratulations @staceyabrams ,#stacyabrams .. and America ??”

Stacey Abrams has earlier stated that she would be a great running mate for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.  She said during an interview:

“Yes. I would be honored. I would be an excellent running mate. I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities.”

“I have a strong history of executive and management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. I’ve spent 25 years in independent study of foreign policy. I am ready to help advance an agenda of restoring America’s place in the world. If I am selected, I am prepared and excited to serve.”

Although Joe Biden has committed to choosing a woman as his VP, even stating he would “choose Michelle Obama in a heartbeat”, he has not promised to choose a woman of color for Vice President.

Russell Simmons has not disclosed his source, but he seems to be quite confident in Stacey Abrams.
