Vanessa Bryant Discovers Card Kobe Wrote Her, A Day Before Her Birthday “#MyBirthdayWish”

This is an emotional week for Vanessa Bryant who just celebrated her and Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Gianna’s 14th birthday.  Today she shared a special gift that she found yesterday, which is just in time for her 38th birthday, which is today.  In an Instagram post Vanessa says she got #MyBirthdayWish, which was an envelope she found that was addressed to “the love of my life” from her late husband.

“Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life,” wrote Vanessa on Instagram. “From, Tu Papi ??I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today.”

She continued, “??Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together. ????????????”

Last month, Vanessa honored the day that would have made the couples 19th wedding anniversary.  Discovery of the letter comes four months after her husband’s tragic death in a helicopter crash alongside their daughter Gianna.  Vanessa recently honored Gianna Bryant on Instagram for her 14th birthday with a touching tribute to her daughter.

“Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you. You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me. I miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!!”
