Andre Harrell’s Ex Wife Says He Had Heart Problems [Condolences]
Update #2 (May 9th): According to reports, Andre Harrell’s ex wife, Wendle Credle, says that he died from heart failure, as he is said to have had heart problems. Reportedly, he died late Thursday night (May 7th) at his home in West Hollywood, CA. His family has yet to release an official statement.
Original Story: Very sad news music veteran Andre Harrell has reportedly died. He was 59.
Andre Harrell is best known as founder of Uptown Records.
While his cause of death has not been shared, the sad news was announced by DJ D-Nice Friday night (May 8).
Harrell was also the first half of the hip hop duo Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde. Harrell is perhaps most known as the one that turned Sean “Diddy” Combs into a music mogul. Harrell was the Vice Chairman of Revolt, Diddy’s music network.
He leaves behind a son, Gianni.
