Tekashi 6ix9ine Pushes Back Release Of Latest Video For 3rd Time: It Would Be Extremely Selfish

“It’s not the time for a music video right now with everything going on in the world. It will be extremely selfish. JUNE 12TH NEXT FRIDAY “
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been a musical warpath since being released from prison. On Nov. 19, 2018, reports came in that Tekashi had been arrested and was facing up to life in prison for racketeering charges. He was sentenced to two years in December, but was released in April because of COVID-19; not before the world was informed that he testified against his former gang affiliates, Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang, in exchange for lesser time.
Since his release, Tekashi has released GOOBA, a single that captured more than 280 million views on YouTube, which landed a spot in the top five of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
After not landing the #1 spot, the 24-year-old rapper accused Billboard of cheating by allowing artists to buy #1’s.
