Ice-T Reveals That His Father In Law Is Being Hospitalized For The Coronavirus

Rapper and Actor Ice-T revealed on social media today (June 30) that his father in law Steve Austin, has been hospitalized in Arizona and is fighting the coronavirus. Ice-T shared the image of his wife Coco Austin’s father lying in bed with an oxygen mask and captioned the photo,

“Coco’s father checked into the Hospital yesterday. Covid in AZ.”

The Law & Order: SVU actor has been very vocal about people that have doubted the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic with tweets such as,

“‘Your biggest Mistake, is thinking it’s Fake…..’ #Covid”

“At this point, wearing a Mask in public is more of an IQ test..”

“I personally know about 10 people that have died.. I just try to inform people from my first hand experiences… If they don’t wanna listen, that’s on them. I’m just doing my part…”

For now, it remains unclear whether Coco Austin’s father has officially been diagnosed with COVID-19, however Arizona is one of the states in recent weeks that have seen coronavirus cases increase. The governor of Arizona, Doug Doucey, has just ordered the state’s bars, gyms, movie theaters, and water parks to shut down for the next 30 days.

Governor Ducey issued the the order on June 29 after there has been a recent spike in cases with 3,800 new coronavirus cases being recorded on June 28. The governor has also ordered public schools to delay the start of the school year until August 17.
