That Was Quick :: Marlo Hampton Cut From Real Housewives of Atlanta

Rumors swirled a while back that Marlo Hampton, the self-proclaimed fiance of NFL player Chris Grant, would join the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast as a new housewife.

Rumor had it that Hampton has been spotted filming with NeNe, Sheree, Phaedra, and Cynthia all over Atlanta and even in South Africa.  But, just a few weeks shy of season 4’s air date, it’s been confirmed Hampton will not be a housewife at all….at least on this show. One can only assume that after Bravo found out about her extensive criminal record (6 arrests) and that her “engagement” to Chris Grant isn’t exactly official, they decided not to make the television offer official either.  Apparently the network hasn’t signed her contract and they won’t be. It’s still unknown whether or not Hampton‘s appearances will be left on the cutting room floor but one thing is for sure, she is not a cast member.

Sucks for her…the new season premiers, Sunday, November 6th :-/
