Fresh off house arrest, just weeks ago rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine took to Instagram Live from the streets of New York, airing his feelings on recently deceased rappers. Many fans speculated he was referring to Nipsey Hussle and Pop Smoke as they both died after being fatally shot. Tekashi 6ix9ine received backlash for these statements:
“Why your favorite rapper dead right now with bullet holes in his face? Why is ya’ll favorite rappers getting shot in the face and all that?”
Tekashi 6ix9ine continued:
“Imma keep security with me, ya’ll ain’t gone R.I.P. me n*gga. Y’all not gonna put me on a t-shirt. You heard? I’ll let ya’ll n*ggas be gangsta because y’all be too gangsta for me…Tell these n*ggas stop dissing me from hell.”
Meanwhile, the “TROLLZ” rapper hit the streets of Nipsey Hussle’s hometown Los Angeles yesterday, (8/13/20) posing in front of a mural of the fallen rapper. He shared a video with the caption:
“REST IN PEACE NISPEY ! I KNOW YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME IM OUT HERE IN THE HOOD PAYING MY RESPECT P.S THE STORE WAS CLOSED BUT THEY PAINTED THIS ON THE SAME BLOCK”

Prior to Nipsey Hussle’s tragic death, he commented on the 24-year-old’s controversial reputation:
“The public should not even react to clown sh*t. The public should follow the real n*ggas…put the dude on goofy time until the sh*t expire, ’cause it’s always gon’ self-destruct.”
