Rumored ‘RHOA’ Newbie LaToya Ali On Separating From Husband Adam: I Just Don’t Feel That Love Connection

LaToya Ali, who’s rumored to be the new star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”, left fans with questions when she and her husband, Adam Ali, went on a double date with Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker amid separation speculation.

But now, she’s confirmed that the separation is still a go and she’s moving out of their home.

She said on her YouTube channel in a video titled “Separation”:

“I’ve kinda been closed off and getting some counsel from therapists and from God and what I’m going through is so hard.”

She added that while she filed last year, she retracted it because she was pregnant at the time. But Adam Ali filed again this year, and she didn’t challenge it. She continued:

“I just don’t feel that love connection, that genuine love in my marriage. Yes, we’ve built amazing businesses together. I’m missing that affection, that genuine love, I’m missing that friendship from my partner.”

She said that their marriage feels more like a partnership than marriage to her, which played a huge factor. She added that she first fell in love with him as he believed in her and then

“A baby pops up. From there we’re just doing the right thing. He proposed, we got married, we purchased a home because it was the right thing to do, for us anyways. We come from two broken homes, I wanted to do the right thing, which I thought was the right thing.”

But now, she said the solution is for them to separate because they haven’t been able to “miss each other” in the nine years they’ve been together.

“Since I entertained the divorce, I’m gonna find a place for myself, my children, my mom and my sister…”

She continued and described their situation as “a toxic environment.”

“It’s not good for my family to see. You can see it, you can feel it. We have to work on what we’re going through in seperate places. It’s a toxic environment. The kids can feel it.”
