Amy Cooper Called Police On Christian Cooper A 2nd Time Claiming He Tried To Assaulted Her + Christian Wants Her To Get Less Jail Time
Amy Cooper, the woman social media has dubbed as “Central Park Karen” is making headlines again after prosecutors said she tried to make a second call to the police, claiming that a man “tried to assault her” during their encounter earlier this year.
The incident originally happened on May 25th in a wooded area of Central Park after Amy Cooper and a black man, Christian Cooper, who was birdwatching in the park, had a disagreement about her dog being in The Ramble area. Amy Cooper called the police and falsely accused Christian Cooper of threatening her and her dog.
Amy Cooper was prosecuted in July for falsely reporting the incident.
The DA’s office now says that Amy Cooper made a second call alleging the same crime and claiming that Christian Cooper attempted to assault her.
But when officers arrived on the scene she changed her story and admitted that Christian Cooper did not try to attack her and he did not come in contact with her.
