Johnny Gill on Beyonce’s Ode to New Edition, “It’s such an honor….”

Johnny Gill (of the popular R&B group, New Edition) noticed the similarities in Beyonce’s “Love on Top” video and New Edition’s “If It Isn’t Love” video and is flattered. Gill told Sister 2 Sister magazine,

“How cool was that?….That was so cool….There’s no more Michael Jackson, but I think she’s a beast to begin with….It’s such an honor to have someone who knew, and knows, her history and to be aware of where it all started.”

Ummmm..what is your comparison? Did u watch the video and its concept? Looks as if she’s paying homage to the guy groups of different times….funny how folks try so hard to play gotcha with Bey….she is where she is…because the folks ontop see it…
