Meek Mill Criticized For Offering Philly Rappers Record Deals In Exchange For Ending Violence In The City
Meek Mill took to social media to try and get the rappers in Philly to get on one page, by offering them record deals. His plan was to get the different groups in the city to be inspired to stop the violence, by giving them the opportunity to elevate their music careers. In a series of tweets he starts with:
“I’ll get all the main big artist in philly a deal if they put them bodies behind them and squash them beefs …I hear about ….got some hot young bulls from my city but they all beefing!”

Meek Mill then touches on the fact that 5 groups of rappers have beef in Philly, adding that their feuds are what has people’s attention. See more of his tweets below:
“And that’s just a idea but I’ll push thru with my city if y’all make it thing! It’s like 5 clicks that’s talented but they deep in! And get they most attention when they beefing!:”

His attempt didn’t go as planned as some residents and fans began to attack Meek online for his gesture to end violence.
