Cardi B Slams Critics After Becoming Billboard’s Woman Of The Year: Eat It Up Cause I’m That B****
Cardi B has a message after being crowned Billboard’s Woman of the Year.
Billboard announced that Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, would be getting the honor Wednesday (Nov. 18th).
While many hailed the 28-year-old rapper for the accomplishment, others were quick to question why she was being recognized after only releasing one hit song this year, “WAP” feat. Megan Thee Stallion.
Cardi B was quick to respond and defend her success. She said:
“Goodmorning ya’ll it’s ya girl Cardi B and yes I am Woman of the Year. And for you crybabies that are like, ‘But she only got one song.’ Yeah I got THAT song b****. You know the one that sold the most, the one that streamed the most, the one that had Republicans crying on Fox News. The one that’s about to be six times Platinum in three months. The one that had your grandma popping her p*ssy on TikTok, yeah b**** that one.”
Cardi B also talked about her role in politics and influencing her fans:
“I’ve been influencing using my platform for Y’ALL to vote, and not just when Joe Biden was going against Trump. I’ve been informing y’all about y’all Senators. I’ve been informing y’all about District, midterm elections, using my money, my own money to meet up with these candidates like Bernie, flying out tired after shows. Yeah that’s me. b*tch Even when y’all was crying like “But you don’t represent us” yes I do b****. I represent America and I wanted a change and that’s exactly what the f*** I did.”
She added:
“Eat it up ’cause I’m just that b****. Eat it up with a spoon so y’all can get a mouthful.”

Cardi B has been vocal about her stance in politics and addressed speculation that she was used as a pawn in the recent presidential election.
“I never got paid a dollar from Biden. I just wanted to get to know him and open my fans up to the importance of voting. I’m so proud of all these celebs who use their platform and for the people who went out and voted. WE DID IT! Don’t let nobody downplay you for what you doing that’s how they try to take away your power. YOUR POWER IS YOUR VOICE!”
