Dionne Warwick Jokingly Questions Chance The Rapper & The Weeknd’s Stage Names: I Need Answers Today
Legendary singer Dionne Warwick has some questions for music artists, Chance the Rapper and The Weeknd. On Saturday (Dec.5), the singer took to Twitter with questions about their stage names. Dionne Warwick first asked Chance The Rapper:
“Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”

Dionne Warwick’s message to Chance The Rapper turned into a funny exchange between the two. Chance The Rapper replied to Warwick:
“Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing!”
He later added,
“I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you.”

Warwick then suggested that the two should collaborate together.
“Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you. “

After she was done addressing Chance, Warwick also had some questions for singer The Weeknd. Dionne wrote,
“The Weeknd is next. Why? It’s not even spelled correctly? @theweeknd”
She then added,
“If you have ‘The’ in your name I’m coming for you. I need answers today.”

The Weeknd was amazed that the legendary singer even addressed him. He wrote,
“I just got roasted by Dionne Warwick, and I feel honored! You just made my day”

As of late, Dionne Warwick has been very active on social media and it’s safe to say, people are noticing. Fans have begun to give her the title, ‘Queen of Social Media’. The “That’s What Friends Are For” songstress was flattered by her new title and took to Twitter to thank her fans.
“Well hey Twitter. It’s the queen of social media. I think that is so wonderful and so much fun. I’m having a ball. I want you to know I will get to those questions as soon as I possibly can. I’m going to do that for you.”
