Rihanna Wants To Take Her Brand To A “Different Level” With Plan To Release A Caribbean Themed Cookbook

Singer and entrepreneur Rihanna is planning on adding something to her brand, by releasing a cookbook soon. The mega star says that thanks to being in quarantine, she had time to do things she never would have before.

“I love what I do – but I am always busy and quarantine gave me the time to do things I wouldn’t always have been able to do – watch an entire box set in a day, cook, go for walk. It’s important we do little things we enjoy and are kind to ourselves.”

Rih now wants to release a cookbook with all of her favorite Caribbean recipes, adding that she, “loves food from my Barbadian roots and eats a lot of fresh fish,” but still loves comfort foods like “mac ’n’ cheese, Shepherd’s pie and rum punch”.

The singer says that while she eats healthy, she still indulges in a cheeseburger from time to time, but also exercises multiple times a week.

“On a day-to-day basis I will eat well – but, at the same time, I won’t deprive myself. If I want a cheeseburger, then I am going to have one. I will exercise three or four times a week as well – feeling healthy is important to me.”

“I will always spend Christmas in Barbados and hopefully this year that’s possible. It’s important to be with friends and family – but I feel at such peace when I am there. It is the most beautiful place, with incredible, beaches, food and people.”

“It’s kind of a cliché, but there is just something I love about decorating the tree. It’s just one of those traditions where you can declare Christmas has started as soon as the tree goes up.”

Meanwhile, fans of Rihanna have been anxiously awaiting her forthcoming ninth studio album R9, and according to music producer and artist Pharrell, it’ll be worth the wait. Rihanna teased earlier this year that she was in the studio with the mega producer’s production duo group, The Neptunes.

In a statement to Allure, Pharrell said,

“Rih is in a different place right now. Like, wow. She’s from a different world.”

He added,

“I’m willing to bet, because Venus is gaseous, that if they had a telescope that could zoom through all that s—, you’d see Rih laying there naked.”

Rihanna confirmed this level of “different world” that Pharrell spoke about, adding that she plans to take her brand to a different level.

“2021 is a little unknown for everybody and nobody is sure what restrictions there are going to be. My creativity is within my control though, and I want to take my music and my brands to a different level.”
