Tiger Woods ‘Had No Recollection’ Of Serious Car Crash, Won’t Face Charges As Sheriff Rules It An Accident
More details are coming out about Tiger Woods’ serious car crash.
L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva has given additional information about the collision, which shattered the pro-golfer’s right leg, and said he didn’t remember what happened shortly after.
“At the hospital, he was asked about it by the investigators and he had no recollection of the crash itself.”
Sheriff’s Deputy Carlos Gonzalez was the first to arrive at the scene six minutes after the police were called. He said,
“I don’t think he was aware of how gravely he was injured at the time. It could be a mixture of adrenaline, it could’ve been shock.”

He added,
“Again it was very quick, the moment that I arrived from the moment that he rolled over, so I don’t know if he had time to fully assess his injuries.”
While reports alleged that Tiger Woods was driving at high speeds moments before the collision, Villanueva also said that the crash was clearly an accident, and Tiger Woods won’t face charges.
“A reckless driving charge has a lot of elements into it. This is purely an accident.”
It’s not clear if his career will be impacted because of his injuries.
His team released a statement hours after the accident, announcing that he was alert and awake.
