Drake Salutes Bow Wow After Making History: If It Wasn’t For You, There Wouldn’t Be No Me
Drake is clapping it up for fellow rapper Bow Wow after making history himself.
As previously reported, Drake is the first artist ever to have three songs debut in the Top 3 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The songs What’s Next, Wants And Needs feat. Lil Baby, and Lemon Pepper Freestyle feat. Rick Ross debuted in the top 3 spots on the chart respectively.

Drake previously celebrated with Bow Wow, singing Thank You, one of Bow Wow’s songs from his sophomore album Doggy Bag, released in 2001.

He later showed even more love to Bow Wow on his Instagram stories, making it clear the Shorty Like Mine rapper is his inspiration.
He said,
“I had to link with Wizzle. Everybody wants to have drinks and everybody wants to celebrate and turn up and, you know, I just had to see Wizzle. I had to see Wizzle in person.”

He continued singing Bow Wow’s Thank You song and added,
“If it wasn’t for you, there wouldn’t be no me. That’s why—you know the rest, that’s why I’mma rock with y’all forever more.”
