Hate crimes in the Asian community have unfortunately reached new heights over the last year.
According to NBC News, there were 3,800 anti-Asian incidents reported throughout the COVID-19 pandemic after public figures like Donald Trump referred to the coronavirus as “The China Virus.”
Anti-Asian hate crimes also increased 150% in 2020.
