Songwriter J. Wright Arrested For Allegedly Killing His Girlfriend
According to reports, multiplatinum songwriter J. Wright (real name Justin L. Wright) has been arrested on murder charges. He has been accused of killing his girlfriend on Mother’s Day.
The incident is said to have taken place in Davenport, Iowa. Police responded to a call about a disturbance in a home when they found 20-year-old Wilanna Bibbs, J. Wright’s girlfriend, had been shot. She reportedly died from her injuries.
Police soon arrested J. Wright. He has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on $500,000 cash bond.
J. Wright is a multiplatinum songwriter and has worked with Omarion, Kash Doll, Timbaland, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and more.
