“For Life” Canceled After Two Seasons, 50 Cent Reacts
‘For Life’ Canceled By ABC After Two Seasons, Will Be Shopped
New ABC Entertainment president Craig Erwich has opted to cancel second-year drama “For Life”. Deadline reports that the drama has not performed well on linear and that the series is ABC’s lowest rated scripted series of the current season in Live+Same Day.
The series, which 50 Cent serves as one of the EPs on, is loosely based on the true story of Isaac Wright Jr., who was imprisoned for a crime that he did not commit. While incarcerated, he became an attorney and helped overturn the wrongful convictions of twenty of his fellow inmates, before finally proving his own innocence.
According to reports, Sony Pictures TV is expected to shop the series to other buyers, including Hulu.
50 Cent responded to the news on social media.
