Tristan Thompson Wins $50,000 In Libel Lawsuit With Woman Who Alleges She Has A Child W/ Him
Tristan Thompson’s relationship with Khloé Kardashian might be in shambles, but the NBA star just got a victory in court against a woman who claims she has a son with him.
On Tuesday (June 22nd), a judge ordered Kimberly Alexander to pay Tristan Thompson $50,000 in general damages, and an additional $2,901.95 in costs.
A judgment obtained by E! News reads that the,
“Plaintiff contends DNA test results revealed he is not the father.”
While he initially requested $100,000 in “damages for loss of reputation, shame, mortification, and hurt feelings” as he said he hadn’t landed an endorsement deal since January 2020, the judge determined there was “insufficient evidence” that Kimberly Alexander’s allegations played a factor.
For now, the ruling is conditional and requires the Boston Celtics player to file a dismissal of 10 anonymous Doe defendants he said were also “responsible in some manner” for the damages.
Tristan Thompson filed the lawsuit last May after Kimberly Alexander publicly claimed he fathered her son, now five. He and his then-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian, with who he shares daughter True, 3, sent Kimberly Alexander a cease-and-desist via their lawyer Marty Singer.

He wrote in the letter,
“After it was indisputably established by a paternity test performed by one of the most reputable labs that Mr. Thompson is not your child’s father, we thought that would be the end of this. Instead, you have continued to spread outrageous lies about my clients, including ridiculous fictional conspiracy theories that you conjured up claiming that my clients supposedly somehow falsified the paternity test results…It is obvious that the reason you are spreading these lies about my clients is because you want your 15 minutes of fame. My clients will not tolerate your despicable conduct.”
