Gayle King Will Ban Unvaccinated Family Members From Her Thanksgiving Vacation: That’s How Strongly I’m Taking The Situation
Gayle King is not playing around when it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine!
Yesterday (Monday, July 12th), she was joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci on CBS This Morning. While talking with the well-known infectious disease expert, Gayle King announced:
“I don’t know how many more times you can say to people, ‘Listen, it will save your life.’ I have this problem with some members of my own family, which I’m now going to ban for Thanksgiving vacation. That’s how strongly I’m taking what you’re saying.”
Her statements appeared to fall in line with Dr. Anthony Fauci’s reasons for being on the show. He was on CBS This Morning to discuss the serious importance of vaccination, particularly in regards to the recent Delta variant. While speaking with Gayle King, Dr. Anthony Fauci stated:
“We really [try] to get more people vaccinated because that’s the solution. This virus will, in fact, be protected against, with the vaccine.”
This is not the first time Gayle King has been vocal about her pro-vaccination standpoint. While on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in May, she said:
“I was so afraid to leave the house… I’d literally go from my bedroom to the TV room to the kitchen to the bedroom to the TV room. For excitement I’d go stand in the living room and wave at the birds! ‘Hi, birds! Hi!’ I was so afraid. But now, Stephen, I am vaccinated. It is my superpower. I am vaccinated… I’m tired of being scared. Honestly. I’ve been so afraid, hunkered down here at home. I’m tired of being scared.”
