More Details on Ashton & Demi’s Messy Divorce

On Thursday it was publicized that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher had called it quits. Most fans assume that this is just the result of the Kutcher’s recent alleged cheating, but according to People Magazine, it was more than that. The couple began dating in 2003, and married in 2005. But in September 2010 a 21-year-old named Brittney Jones claimed that she’d had sex with Ashton (on the couch) in Demi and Ashton’s home, while Demi was away on business.

Brittney’s claims were deemed untrue after Ashton threatened to sue for defamation of character, and Brittney released a sex tape which made her seem unbelievable. But, in early October of this year, Ashton Kutcher was accused of participating in an affair again, this time with a 22-year-old female named Sara Leal.

What makes it even worse is that the affair supposedly happened on Ashton and Demi’s anniversary day. Now, just a month later, Demi has officially filed for divorce. One of People Magazine’s “sources” said that even apart from the cheating rumors, the two have been having other troubles in their relationship for a while. They did try to work out their issues, but were unsuccessful. The “source” said,

“Ashton is unhappy; [Demi]’s unhappy. It just got to a point where they had to end it.”

Another “source” said,

“The fighting could get pretty intense. Whatever counseling they did was fine for a quick fix but could not get to the heart of the problem.”

Now that the divorce papers have been filed, Kutcher’s first alleged mistress, Brittney Jones, has come back with more words to say. She recently told TMZ that she feels “vindicated” by the divorce, because she thinks people will finally believe her side of the story she told back in 2010. She explained,

“For so long people have thought I was just dishonest or just making up my passionate nights with Ashton, when in fact I was being used… Now I can tell al the facts about how Ashton really was, and hopefully people will believe my side of the story.”
